No Airport Premises but still alive and well!

The Biggin Hill Airport Social Club (a private members club, associated
with Biggin Hill Reunited, (the unofficial airport users
database) is available to all present and past airport users and workers. It originally, courtesy of Joe Merchant with the
Pilots Pals Bar, had a home at the airport itself. Now homeless until new airport premises can be found (if ever), members
use the club as a means of remaining in contact and meet up in a variety of locations, one of which is The Crown
Pub in Leaves Green just at the foot of the hill leading up to the airport from Bromley. The Crown Pub, just next to the petrol station, has
plenty of car parking. It is a busy and very friendly pub, offering good food. In addition to the main bar, it has inside dining
areas, as well as a covered exterior dining section, and a large garden area with some weather protection alongside the pub.
We have lost our airport view - for the time being - but the community still thrives!
